Members participated in Crew Drills on Thursday, February 21, 2019. The Rescue Crew traveled to West End Towing N’ Storage to practice vehicle rescue techniques. Lt. Helmke supervised the crews in utilizing Hurst Jaws of Life eDraulic tools to remove doors. They then used Paratech struts and chain to “Crack-The-Egg”. Challenging training scenarios such as this help our rescue technicians hone their skill sets and be able to face any complex rescue we will face.
