West Chester Special Fire Police
The West Chester Fire Police are special group of dedicated firefighters representing all three companies of the West Chester Fire Department whose primary role is to protect fire department and other emergency services personnel at incidents. Fire Police duties include traffic control at the scene of an accident, crowd control on a fire scene, assist police departments as requested, traffic and crowd control for public events, assist in searching for missing persons, and establishing warning barriers for hazardous conditions on roadways. The West Chester Fire Police operate out of Good Will’s (Station 52) station on South Bolmar Street.
